LignaMets OÜ has been operating since 1998 and it is a forest owner and forest management company based on Estonian capital. LignaMets OÜ (formerly Lignator Mets OÜ) developed from Lignator AS, founded in 1995. We have been managing the forests we own in the extent of the increments since 2006 and in our activities we have always relied on the good practice of forest management. Our long-term successful activity in the forestry sector led to LignaMets OÜ starting cooperation with Ambient Sound Investments (ASI), the joint company of Skype’s founders, in 2014. Multiland OÜ was founded which jointly invested in 850,000 solid cubic metres of forest assets and which gained Estonia’s first FSC forest management certificate in 2015.
Over the years, we have been a reliable partner for domestic as well as foreign forestry companies and owners of forest land and farmland holdings. Additionally, in 2008-2013 when land exchange was topical we were valued advisors and supporters for many owners with nature conservation immovables.
The present
The success of LignaMets OÜ is largely based on keeping the team with an outstanding work culture and great synergy. It has enabled us to broaden the previous direction of forestry and expand to other sectors, meaning agriculture and green energy. The trustworthy reputation our company and team haveensures great partnerships with clients, a balanced investment capacity and reliability on capital markets.
